Blue Jay Tackle Ltd. was formed in 1994; it started off as a minor addition to the tackle section of a local sporting goods store. It quickly grew in popularity and Blue Jay racks were put into the Thunder Bay Canadian Tire stores shortly thereafter.
The reason why Blue Jay Tackle is asked for by name and recognized all over Canada and parts of the United States is its superior quality and performance. Blue Jay Tackle uses only quality brand name components that were chosen for specific purposes. The combination of components and vivid colors makes Blue Jay Tackle the preferred spinner choice for most fishing enthusiasts.
Used in the manufacture of Blue Jay Tackle are Rosco swivels, Sufix line, interchangeable clevises, premium quality beads and blades, VMC hooks and last but not least recyclable and reusable plastic clam shell boxes.
With over 200 lures to chose from, including a variety of jigs, worm harnesses, soft body floaters, spin & glows and of course, many spinners, there is something for every angler.
